Angela welcomed us in her beautiful home for a weekend and we had a wonderful stay. The house is tastefully decorated, feels cozy and is just the place you wish for at the end of a long day walking and touring sites around Edinburgh. The bedroom is of great size, very clean and with a beautiful modern bathroom. The breakfast is as described by others: generous and delicious; you have the option of a typical Scottish breakfast or other options that are equally tempting. Location wise, you’re just 10/15min walking distance from Old Town and everything you may want to explore, yet it’s very quiet so perfect for a restful night. Angela was a wonderful host and we could not recommend this place highly enough.

We spent three wonderful nights at 14 Hart street. Angela's house is not only very elegant and full of character, but very comfortable and warm too. The furniture and artwork is remarkable, historically accurate and communicates her love for ancient history and the Classics, but at no point in time we felt like in a museum. You will be feeling at home in no time and it is down mainly to Angela's personality and kindness. Her breakfast is glorious too and will be remembered as one of the nicest things we are in Edinburgh. Please stay here if you visit the magical city of Edinburgh, I can guarantee it will add so much to the experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at 14 Hart St. The home was a fantastic base for exploring Edinburgh, and Angela’s attentive hospitality and the home’s beautiful antique decor made it a lovely place to relax after a busy day. It is a small bnb with only 3 rooms which made us feel all the more special. We loved getting to chat with fellow travellers over a delicious breakfast in the morning and appreciated the whiskey in our room in the evening. Highly recommend for a warm, comfortable and luxurious stay.

We had an amazing stay at 14 Hart Street over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend! We felt special the moment we arrived and were shown to our lovely large luxurious room and felt this way every morning when having breakfast on a beautifully layed out table. The location was as described in all these reviews somehow making you feel like you are in the center of town but on a super quiet street at the same time and was the perfect base for our city exploration! Our host Angela was delightful ! She really elevated our stay providing us with great advise for where to eat as well as insider tips on when and how to visit some of Edinburgh's famous attractions. Do not miss out on this wonderful place to stay!

The location of the B&B was fantastic, only a short walk from the train station, Edinburgh Waverly, and just off a main road with lots of cafes nearby. Angela was there to greet me and show me the room which was fully equipped with a nespresso machine, Scottish whisky, red wine, tea, shortbread, hairdryer, towel warmer, and all the other usual bathroom necessities. The room was decorated in a lovely traditional manner and was very cozy. Breakfast was made to order - I had scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast each morning but there was also various cereal/granola options with fresh fruit and croissants as well. 10/10 stay - I loved the location, the room, and was well looked after my entire time at 14 Hart Street B&B.

Our stay in the house was wonderful, from the first moment super easy to communicate with Angela. The house is beautiful and with care in every detail. Very close to the center, you are immediately in the most tourist spots. Angela made us very good recommendations and made us feel at home. The breakfasts are spectacular, with all kinds of options, fresh fruit and made to order, honestly better than any hotel we have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend this place, we will be back for sure.

I stayed at 14 Hart Street for four nights earlier this month, and I couldn't have enjoyed myself more. Angela was a warm and gracious host: every aspect of her lovely Georgian home was beautifully arranged and comfortable. As a solo traveller, I loved having chats with her and meeting the fellow guests over delicious breakfasts. My room was lovely - bright, cozy, and spotless. I'll add that the b&b couldn't be better located for visitors to Edinburgh. I walked everywhere. In the immediate vicinity, I recommend Broughton Bar (best espresso martini I've ever had), Pickles wine bar (had a lovely cheese plate for one there), Broughton Market (gourmet grocery), Curiouser and Curiouser for gifts, and Nourish for healthy sandwiches, salads, and good coffee. Highly recommend this gem of a b&b and Angela.

I really really loved staying at 14 Hart Street! Angela is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. She prepares an amazing fresh breakfast every morning to each guests' taste. The B&B is just exquisite, loved the furniture and the style. Rooms are spacious and so cozy, really appreciated the included whisky as well. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of almost everything. What can I say, I just can't wait to visit Edinburg again!
